#HrdLight - Katherine Georgina

Finally I have all the images shot for this project.  This is the second to last one.
I made this image a while back but am only just getting chance to update the project gallery and write this post.  (Lazy Blogger)

Love this shot, the small highlights in the eyes and the pattern of light that’s falling across Katherine… love it.  Ironic thing is I shot this after setting up a huge modifier and light that can be seen below.

This is the Westcott 7' Parabollic Umbrella It’s a huge modifier that gives great light but its hard to work with given its size.















So after setting this up I notice the natural light on the floor and had to shoot it, have to say I don’t enjoy shooting on ladders because every time I bring the camera up to my eye I lean forward.  The sun was playing with me a little so I had to chase exposure somewhat.

Take away is look at the available light first.. and have someone hold the ladders.
