Love this shot, the small highlights in the eyes and the pattern of light that’s falling across Katherine… love it. Ironic thing is I shot this after setting up a huge modifier and light that can be seen below.
This is the Westcott 7' Parabollic Umbrella It’s a huge modifier that gives great light but its hard to work with given its size.
So after setting this up I notice the natural light on the floor
and had to shoot it, have to say I don’t enjoy shooting on ladders because
every time I bring the camera up to my eye I lean forward. The sun was playing with me a little so I
had to chase exposure somewhat.
Take away is look at the available light first.. and have someone hold the ladders.
